Dedicated to preventing major surgeries through meticulous therapy, Rehab Lab Team is a luxury upscale physical therapy and wellness center that has earned acclaim from medical professionals and clients alike. With a team of highly skilled professionals, including the renowned Guillermo and Mike, the center is committed to transforming lives and fostering lasting wellness.

Assistive devices are becoming increasingly commonplace in the rehabilitation field, but they are often based on generic models that cannot be adjusted to individual needs. This project aims to develop a solution to this problem by creating a fully integrated FabLab in a rehabilitation or medico-social organisation that allows patients to create their own individualized assistive device using 3D printing technology.

Rehab Lab Team: Working Together for Your Complete Healing

The project has already successfully passed the first phase of its development by transferring the innovative concept created in France to a total of six adopters across Europe. The key success factors for this twinning included training people who will manage the REHAB-LAB after it is finished, making the adopters participate as much as possible, and maintaining connection with them through a collaborative platform, thus helping them to create their communities of practice.

While it is not possible to create a single, ideal team of rehab professionals, understanding what roles and competencies are necessary may help identify gaps in current workforces. For instance, it can highlight which clinical areas require additional education and training or where there are opportunities for new professional partnerships to improve the quality of care.
